PORTLAND, Ore — Raining at the coast early this morning and wet weather will be scattered between Vancouver and Salem during the morning commute hours. Futurecast shows only a few mid-day showers inland, but numerous heavy evening and overnight showers. The rain chance will taper off Thursday afternoon. Weather models show .15-.55″ of possible rainfall in scattered locations over the two days.
This should give the Northwest its most significant rain since early July and possibly since early June, depending on how much falls.
Friday begins with fog, then becomes sunny. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
The first weekend of October brings sunshine and highs in the 80s again. It looks like dry weather will continue through much of next week.
